This 190e sits on a set of OEM 15-inch ‘flat-face’ alloy wheels shod in Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance tyres.

Under the bonnet sits a naturally aspirated 2.3-litre inline-four with a bespoke DOHC 16-valve Cosworth cylinder head, delivering around 182bhp to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission.

This left-hand drive example was originally a Japan-delivered model, which was first registered in June 1986, and was imported and first registered in the UK in December 2023. The odometer indicates 68,913 Kms, though this is not warranted.

Equipment includes headlamp washers, a top-tinted windscreen, cruise control, air conditioning, a Blaupunkt Windsor cassette stereo, an analogue clock, and electric windows.

This example has been fitted with a handmade fibreglass rear spoiler.

This 190E’s most recent maintenance was carried out in January 2024 at an indicated 43,000 miles by Von Otto Ltd, which consisted of an engine oil and filter change, the fuel filter replaced, all new spark plugs, HT leads, distributor cap, and rotor arm, a new drive belt and tensioner, and the rear brake discs and pads replaced.

Other notable maintenance includes the rear shock absorbers being poly-bushed, the wheels refurbished, new tyres fitted, a replacement front brake caliper, all new brake hoses, new ABS sensors, the right-hand heated door mirror replaced and a professional respray.
